At Run From Prostate Cancer we've served the African American and Latin American males in several underprivileged areas for over 7 years. We are a non-proft organizatioin that dedicates our time and services to the communities across the Chicagoland area. Our mission is to educate, raise awareness and to prevent Prostate Cancer in the Black communities across America, as the mortality rate is almost 3 times higher than the Caucasian race.

Run From Prostate Cancer was started by Michael "Muffy" Collins after several years of research in efforts to help prevent and educate the African American community about Prostate Cancer. Muffy was eager to spread his knowledge throughout the community, due to the higher rates of Prostate Cancer amongst African American men when compared to other nationalities.

It is our goal to run from prostate cancer by educating on detection, prevention, and ways to enhance the knowledge of those unaware of the effects this disease may have on the African American male commnunity.
